Frondesence; the time when a plant unfolds its leaves.
Iβve always loved Fern or Bracken as we call it in Scotland.
As a child I would collect the fiddleheads, fascinated by their whimsical design. It was my Granda that taught me the wee curled fronds were edible. And that the black spots I spent hours counting were in fact spores.
A primordial plant unchanged in eons, one that is said to produce a magic blossom once a year, on the eve of the Summer Solstice. Invisible to the naked eye, but for anyone lucky enough to see the seed will have all their wishes come true.
Frondesence is the perfect print for those who seek a wee bit of faery magick.
