About GKI
The Good Karma Initiative (GKI)
At The Good Karma Initiative, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of children facing adversity. Our mission is to provide support to those affected by poverty, hunger, absent parents, and bereavement. Through our unique online store, we sell products and services generously donated by businesses across the UK. Every penny raised is reinvested into qualifying good causes, charities, and non-profits focused on helping children.
We operate under the guidance of Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action (AVA), ensuring we meet the highest standards of charitable work. We are proud to pledge that a minimum of 80% of all funds raised will go directly to our charity partners and beneficiaries, making a real difference where it matters most.
Our Story
The Good Karma Initiative was born from a chance encounter on a flight to the USA. Founders Adrian Whalley and Andrew Brooks bonded over their shared passion for helping children. Adrian, a pillar of his community, runs the successful Natural Skincare Factory, while Andrew is a tech entrepreneur renowned in the charity tech space. Their shared vision and commitment have led to the creation of GKI, with the ambitious goal of impacting the lives of 1 million children, starting in Aberdeenshire and expanding across the UK.
